Delete your account

Account deletion is permanent. Delete from inside the app; support is only for people who no longer have it.

Delete from the app

  1. Open BandBinder and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Open Band Hub.
  3. Choose Manage (the … menu on smaller screens), then Delete account.
  4. Review what will be removed, then confirm.

Subscriptions

Before deleting your account, you can sign in to manage billing to review or cancel subscriptions you pay for through this website. The deletion flow shows which of those subscriptions are affected, and deleting your account cancels them so they do not renew. A subscription bought through Apple's in-app purchase is different: deleting your BandBinder account does not cancel it, and we cannot cancel it for you. Cancel it yourself first, in your Apple subscription settings (on your iPhone or iPad: Settings > your name > Subscriptions); until you do, Apple keeps billing you. Account deletion does not automatically mean a refund.

What is deleted

We remove your BandBinder sign-in account, associated personal data and account-owned notes. If you manage a band, deleting your account also deletes that band's cloud library for everyone in it. If you do not manage a band and only contribute to one, charts belong to that band's manager and remain in the band, including edits you made. We remove personal attribution linked to your deleted account. Review the affected bands in the app before confirming.

Copies on devices

If you managed a band, bandmates who synced it keep their offline copy until their app next reconciles. Their own cloud backups are refreshed the next time they back up. To have your content removed from a bandmate's backup before they next back up, ask support and we remove it within 30 days.

No longer have the app?

You can request account deletion through support. Use the email associated with your BandBinder account, choose Other, and enter Delete my account. We will verify the request, complete it within 30 days, and confirm when it is done. Never send us your password or sign-in codes.
